This is a nationally accredited two day course followed by a minimum of two on - field or boundary assessments completed during the cricket season. Candidates will be expected to keep records of games umpired during the season and show a commitment to self reflection and continued development. At the end of the season a professional discussion and assessment will be undertaken complete the accreditation. This course is aimed at those looking to develop their umpiring and support their movement through the grades of cricket to Premier League standard. A good knowledge of the Laws of Cricket is essential as the course does not teach the Laws but aims to concentrate on their application, field craft, man management and self development. Courses will start in the New Year and are organized on a regional basis.
