Association of Cricket Officials

The ECB Association of Cricket Officials (ECB ACO) exists to develop competent umpires and scorers service the needs of the game at all levels - 'from playground to Test arena'. It is an independent association which operates with the full backing of the ECB. It is managed by a small team who share the ECB offices at Lord's

Building on the strength and experience of previous organisations the ACO looks to support the needs of the local county boards via a regional structure.

The ACO looks to provide a development pathway to allow umpires and scorers to progress to the level to which they aspire. Full details of the benefits of being a member can be found here:- http://www.ecb.co.uk/ecb/ecb-association-of-cricket-officials/membership/
