Membership Joining Form

Full Membership - £20 clubs and £20 individual

Full membership is available to any individual, club or organisation, who applies for membership to the Company, and who pays the annual subscription and guarantees the payment of £10 in the event of company insolvency.

Full Members are entitled to the following benefits:

1.       The right to attend and vote at General Meetings. (Clubs and Organisations can nominate one delegate to vote on their behalf).

2.       The right to wear OCB colours.

3.       The right to free entry to all home grounds where an Oxfordshire side is playing (except ECB Nationally organised games).

4.       The right to receive a Handbook and Fixture Card if published.

5.       The right to attend three Members meetings per year with the Directors to influence thinking and the future direction of the Company.(Clubs and Organisations may send one delegate)

6.       The opportunity to attend Member’s events e.g. Annual Dinner

7.       Insurance Cover through OCB Ltd whilst on OCB activities

8.       Only an individual member can be proposed as a Director of the Company.

Nb. It is expected that all Focus and Club Mark Accredited clubs will be Full Members - see Club Development section for more details on the benefits of Club Membership.

Club Membership

Club membership is available to all Clubs and Organisations who affiliate to OCB Ltd by paying the appropriate affiliation fee, and who do not wish to guarantee payment of £10 in the event of Company insolvency.

Club Members are entitled to the following benefits:

1.       The right to attend General Meetings but not vote.

2.       The right to send one delegate to three Members meetings per year with the Directors to influence thinking and the future direction of the Company.

3.       The right to receive a Handbook and Fixture Card if published.

4.       The opportunity to attend Member’s events e.g. Annual Dinner. (One delegate from each club)

5.       Insurance Cover through OCB Ltd whilst on OCB activities.

Associate Membership

Associate membership is available to all individuals who pay their subscription and do not wish to guarantee £10 in the case of Company insolvency.

All individual members of the Oxfordshire OA and Oxfordshire CA and Oxfordshire members of the Institute of Groundsmanship, who are not full members of OCB, are automatically Associate Members.

Associate members are entitled to the same benefits as Club members.

Honorary Membership

Honorary Membership may be granted to individuals by the Company for significant contributions to OCB Ltd. 

This would include the current Life members and Vice Presidents of OCB. An Honorary member would have all the rights of Full membership but could not be proposed as a Director of the Company. They would not be expected to guarantee £10 in the event of Company insolvency (The Directors would provide the guarantee).
